|
I am a Mental Health Accredited Occupational Therapist with 20 years’ experience working in various mental health settings ranging from Acute Inpatient Units in Psychiatric Hospitals, Community Mental Health Services and Mental Health Rehabilitation Centers.
My therapeutic work over the years has included adults, children and families. I work from an Occupational Therapy viewpoint, which looks at how a person is functioning in their various life roles and contexts and I assess the impact of mental health issues on their capacity to cope and thrive. I have experience in helping adults, children and adolescents with a varied range of emotional difficulties. These include: anxiety disorders, mood disorders, relationship problems, parenting problems. In addition to these areas I have a special interest in working with children affected by trauma and adult survivors of trauma. I am available for appointments on Fridays. |
